Lending and banking in general is a highly regulated market so they do have to underwrite and do anything in their power to avoid lending money or start contractual obligations with people that are bad creditors. Source: worked for them for 2 years.

Thanks for sharing. Just one note: as someone who doesn't know who Mario Bekes is, this whole piece reads a lot like an Ai supported (borderline generated) piece. I literally gave up on the third paragraph.

Either this is written by AI or someone with a similar level of empathy. This said, there's little to be known about the methods they use to assess people, but if it follows the trend, it definitely isn't close to being fair, honest, transparent or even human-like. Even more so when it comes to helping managers by using an AI conversation tool to simulate scenarios. It is another corpo BS that is polished to look like they care about people (with respect to the local laws). But otherwise I'm pretty sure this won't help make MS some sort of high performing company.

Someone did look into exactly that. There is no supporting document regarding the actual height. And it does look like it is exaggerated for impact purposes. So they did have towers, they were clearly higher than the rest of the other buildings... Might have been this tall? Maybe. Or maybe not.

What are you referring to? Who looked into it? Are you citing something?

I think they might be referring to this video? https://youtu.be/ikg3-GQLg3g They traveled to the city and spoke to an actual historian on the matter. The "more accurate" model appears in the last 20s of the video if you are just curious about what our best guess of the actual appearance of the city is.

Don't worry. It's perfectly readable :). Thank you for sharing

That's a very nice definition! Thanks for sharing

I have reached a point in my crusade to kill Technical Debt. As many have stumbled upon this, I share my experience to set a milestone in the achievement of this goal.

Thanks, but I'm still missing how I would properly diagnose myself. These symptoms might be all too common ... Anything more reliable?

You can always go to an allergist for a skin prick test.

I'd say hallmark symptom would be chronic night time congestion worsening while in bed (an area of the house that has a very high density of mite allergen).

But running a bit of differential diagnosis on this,

* Inflammatory & Allergic Conditions (allergic/non-allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis, turbinate hypertrophy, nasal polyps).

* Obstructive Sleep Apnea (do a STOP-BANG).

* Structural Blockages & Airway Obstructions (deviated septum, adenoid/tonsil hypertrophy, nasal valve collapse, turbinate hypertrophy).

* Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD/LPR).

An allergy clinic can run these tests for you.

Been doing immunotherapy for allergies for 3 years and it is a complete game changer. Last year was the first year I could breathe through my nose for the entire year. No more stuffy months.

I'm sorry, did you forget "mafia"?

I didn't. that's implied in "avoiding regulations".

Oh yeah. Full chop be it!
