The room? “… ohai Mark!”

I’d start win this order:

    Spirited away
    Howls moving castle
    Princess Mononoke
    Castle in the sky
    Nausicaa

For a first world country, Germany has ridiculously low food prices. These are found at the chain supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl, etc.). They tend to be small by American big box standards (perhaps 1000sqm, so maybe 3x the size of a bodega). There's a lot of these supermarkets everywhere in the country, most people can easily come across them during usual daily trips.

Or revenue?

If movie contracts are any lesson, you always want to be on the gross. Too many ways to game the system otherwise.

And that only works because the theatres aren’t controlled by the producers. Revenue recognition is its own field of ripe fuckery.

God yes

I find it kinda ironic that they phase out 32bit at the same time. I’d guess it would be easier to emulate 32but x86, although the difference perhaps goes away with a JIT.

There's no point in emulating just 32-bit x86 when modern games are all built for x86-64 plus several extensions. If they could make devs target an arch of their choice, they'd ask for aarch64 and skip funding FEX.

Wolfenstein was pretty successful already. commander Keen did okay.

For me the heavy technique is integer linear programming.

I’m not a software developer anymore.

Wir a Minute, that’s Wolfenstein! (Raycasting)

Uh, the argument ended in some sort of stroke there.

Kinda curious how the story

Looks like they ran out of RAM.

There’s 3 or 4 places where the commenter just glitches out. Sounds like they’re using a transcription tool or something

It’s telling that the comment is highly upvoted (as I write this comment, anyway) despite being incoherent and incomplete in multiple places. I guess being generically angry and complaining about popular targets like OpenAI is an easy way to earn upvotes from visitors who don’t actually read, just scan comments for keywords and vibes.

It's complete enough for me (and others I guess) to form a constructive argument.

I assume they're saying blow up the hardware marked so they can liquidate assets efficiently?

Like an IPad mini?
