Go see a psychiatrist, and get a caseworker.

Does anyone else hear the Carmagnole drums beating through the headlines?

Don’t worry about the haters. Focus on getting things like you want them.

holy f*. this is the best advice I've ever read on the internet

0. Save your money for laundry and storage.

1. Food pantries will provide food. “I have a food emergency.”

2. Call the local homeless shelters, mental health clinics - anywhere that deals with indigent populations.

3. Recognize your bravery for putting ethics over money.

4. Work your way into a low-income housing situation. Many ethical thinkers live this way.

5. Don’t get paranoid or angry. You have dignity.

6. Join a church which is full of intelligent and relaxed people. I recommend Catholicism.

7. If you have to ask for something, ask for it with a smile. People want to help each other.

8. Family sticks together.

Sincerely, A programmer who lived homelessly for years

This is literally the only helpful post in this thread. The rest of the posts are nothing but, “Sorry, but...” posts.

Honest inquiry. Has anyone else here had their behavioral patterns hacked by a psy group?

There’s not a support network.

How would you know if that was happening?

Maybe cancer is a waste product that is only solved by... well, I can’t put it into words. If I could, I would call it “attrachion”, and reference the anime Tower of God.

Lethal injections, and executions, are never necessary.. It is in the best interest of everyone for everyone to abandon the concept en total.

Totally agree, but until we abolish the death penalty I’d rather have it done humanely.

There's the argument to be made; which would people be more likely to protest and try to end the practice of:

Death row inmates falling asleep and not waking up.

Death row inmates being drawn and quartered (bit of an extreme example).

(for those that don't know "drawn and quartered" involves four plow horses, some rope and an axe or two)

As an oblong reference regarding megalopsuchia, you may enjoy Peter Chung’s Aristotle as visited in the anime film series titled “Reign: The Conqueror”.

They probably knew about feedback loops, though, given the creation of waterclocks. Applying those principles to psychology is a short leap, yes ?

I don’t understand what you mean and I will not continue the discussion, instead I’m reading this article in the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, a great article about Aristotle’s ideas on the topic. https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/aristotle-ethics/
