I've seen it on Insta as well, but I think the authors use some very clever processing to hide it from the detection algos, and it quickly gets reported and taken down.
Most CSE issues are in the UK are on Snapchat, followed by Instagram, a few others then X - I’m imagining Apple doesn’t delete these apps because it’s smarter to target the abusers.
I agree with the sentiment, but nobody even needs to make these sort of threats or asks anymore.
It is all a well-defined implicit caste hierarchy at this point and anyone with enough net worth and a willingness to publicly fellate the orange dong gets a protected spot on the 2nd tier of the pyramid.
In her book she writes how in Egypt, to get a job as police, you need to bribe your boss and pay a monthly tribute. Being a cop was a chance to join the Mafia squeezing the public for bribes. Your boss pays his boss, and so on to the top. So when the public protested against the regime, the police were especially brutal against them, because all the cops were in on the scam and wanted to preserve it/if the regime collapses their necks are also on the line.
Looking forward to the ICE thugs beating and shooting Americans who want to bring down the current lawless regime... Or is that already happening?
Trump hires fuckwits like Noem or Hagseth who (probably) knows they're dumb fucks who would never otherwise be in their positions, and they would suck any dick, metaphorical or even perhaps real mushroom-sized ones, to remain in power.
this is great. I've been using AI for health optimization (exercise routine, diet, etc.) based on my biomarkers for a while now.
Once ChatGPT recommended me a simple solution to a chronic health issue - a probiotic with a specific bacteria strand. And while I used probiotics with before, apparently they have all different stands of bacteria. The one ChatGPT recommended me really worked.
He posts some variant of this kind of anti AI piece roughly every two months for over 20 years. He's been wrong so far. Eventually he'll get lucky, but his track record is abysmal.
Has he been wrong about everything? I doubt that. It's also a logical fallacy to dismiss his current argument because he's made wrong arguments before. What he's saying about Altman lying is true or false independent of anything else he's said prior.
On this board, there's an exceptionally good chance a response will come from someone who wrote code or published research fundamental to your daily life, perhaps your favorite sci novel, etc. Not that such questions are ever a reasoned entrance into discussions you aren't burning down-- they're not. But there are still some few places on the internet where a bit if discussion can happen, and this is usually one where the noise doesn't fully drown that out.
Gary is a bit of a stopped clock that always says the same time and is right occasionally. His basic position is these neural network things are not much good, they won't do whatever the current claim is.
I asked it: "Recommend me epic Brad Pit movie about Tibet." and all I get is: "Uh-oh! There was an issue with the response. Content Security Warning: The content may contain inappropriate content."
Why is X still on the app stores?
