I thought type hints in Python were dumb until I combined them with VSCode. Holy cow the autocomplete and tool tips are incredible, there’s no way I could go back.
Of course, they are almost required there. Microsoft's Pyright extension is useless without type hints. I know this because I tried to use VSCode without them. It reminds me of those free-to-play MMORPGs, where you have to pay to unlock their entire content.
I mentioned the point of making our tools too reliant on type hints in my opening.

I do lots of work with both annotated and unannotated Python. Pylance (which is what is built into VSCode and based on Pyright) is not useless on unannotated code.

Well, yeah, there are things that type annotations allow that you can't statically determine without them. That's...rather the point.
Lots of great tax advice here. But 45k MRR is far from FU money. Think creatively about whether there are ways you could grow the business. Going from 45k->90k should be a lot easier than 0k->45k.
What a simplistic view. I see this sentiment so often in hn and Reddit threats. If something is going wrong, yes the nuclear option might be the one needed at some point. But burning all your bridges (including your S/O) and running, isn't a great first idea.
Do you feel worse after sleeping generally? Two causes I know of this 1) sleep apnea, 2) grinding/clenching/TMJ issues. The second one was a huge problem for me over the past 10+ years, manifesting vaguely as “fatigue” similar to what you describe. I finally found a solution about 1.5 years ago that has allowed me to reclaim about 25% of my waking hours that I was losing to this condition. I’m not 100% where I’d like to be but it’s been a huge game changer. I recommend taking this very seriously and pursuing answers on a weekly basis until you find something that works. And realize that chronic pain can manifest as chronic fatigue.
