I really don't understand the thing with the "Wuhan virus" name. We already have diseased named after places: Ebola, Marburg, Hanta, Junín, Lyme, Crimea-Congo, etc. Why the outrage now for calling it Wuhan Virus? Why it _has to be racist_ instead a historical thing?

From the "WHO best practices for naming of new human infectious diseases" (2015):

Terms that should be avoided in disease names include geographic locations (e.g. Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, Spanish Flu, Rift Valley fever), people’s names (e.g. Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, Chagas disease), species of animal or food (e.g. swine flu, bird flu, monkey pox), cultural, population, industry or occupational references (e.g. legionnaires), and terms that incite undue fear (e.g. unknown, fatal, epidemic).

Because in this instance you all made it racist.

How is it racist to criticize the Chinese Communist Party? And that includes rightly blaming them for botching everything involving the pandemic. The Chinese people deserve better leadership.

The people of Iraq got better leadership and look how that turned out.
