Apple and this website have no business relationship, so there’s no breech of contract. Beyond that, Apple‘s duty of care is really very low.

If Google can take money to sent people to a website that otherwise would rank below yours, Apple certainly isn’t liable for doing the same without intention.

It baffles me how many commenters here and on Facebook just assume this is somehow illegal.

I‘m not saying I know the US Code by heart or anything, but lacking the basic intuition for what the laws of the land are must be a terrible disadvantage.
