Think of how much extra software engineers get paid because of how difficult it is to do simple things. If it were easy, you wouldn’t need a whole team for a crud web app. If everything didn’t break from updates constantly, you wouldn’t need SaaS in order to feel like a piece of software might still work in 2-5 years.
