Original title slightly too long - so I removed 'post-Brexit', which I thought would draw comments on it being unnecessary (though more relevant than usual perhaps) line-drawing or incendiary anyway.


The coverage of this story in the Guardian I found ever so slightly better:

I'm generally somewhat skeptical of The Telegraph as a news source when it comes to discussions of government policy, since it only ever seems to criticise the government when it thinks it can influence it.
