Sham, a Linux shell (SQL blew my mind) (feralhosting.com)

That must be hosted on my server, 6 points and the site is dead already :^)

My personal blog was once on top HN, back then it was hosted on wordpress, intel atom, 256Mb allocated to php-fpm. It easily handled 700 users in a minute.

So why can't I get a wordpress page to load during development with no traffic faster than 20 seconds?

You haven't spent full 3 weeks tuning nginx and php-fpm and opcache?

I have not

No caching?

@iamidly There are already a few shells out there that already do this. Such my own one:

- Inlining SQL: https://murex.rocks/docs/optional/select.html

- Selecting rows from a table (the docs doesn't cover all the usecases of `[` - I need to fix that): https://murex.rocks/docs/commands/index.html

There's also other shells like Elvish and Powershell that can do this kind of stuff too.

I raise this because if you're trying to plug a void in the market then I'd suggest you take a look at these first as they're already relatively mature and might solve the same problems you're trying to address.

However if this is just a hobby, a bit of fun to pass the evenings, then by all means carry on. As one shell author to another, it's a fun project to take on :)

Is this just a wish list, or sham is in a state people can play?

You might be onto something. I long wished of a scripting/shell language where the relational table is a first class construct.

Maybe repost this once you get it into a more stable server.

the softwares exists. it is very much in a state of play and profit (all example code on the pages are executed with the output supplied). albeit, right now it seems i will not be able to supply it :)

yes, i intend to fix my software (not server) problem to the end of the week and make a better try.

What was this before it went down?

Excuse the lack of formatting, but something like this:
