To help me get a grasp on the meaning and significance of this finding, could anyone provide examples of things outside the domain of cellular automata that are omniperiodic?
I'm not sure the concept is very meaningful outside of CA. There aren't really infinites in the real world, and most domains they'd be possible they are probably trivial. Perhaps outstanding combinatory or graph theory problems are analogous
