Turns out the wonderful lucidity of Data Colada posts extends not only to data science, but also descriptions of court proceedings. Looking forward to any and all future updates if the case makes it to discovery.


Good that they keep their spirits up. Being sued like that can be very stressful.

Seems like either her team is confident that Harvard will settle before discovery or her reputation is already so cooked that even if discovery makes her look worse she has nothing else to lose at this point. (Complete lay armchair speculation of course.)


So I Am Not A Lawyer, but I always thought it was generally advised to not speak in public about active litigation, and certainly not to blog about it. Is there some nuance or reason why that doesn't apply here?
