Regarding the range, is software engineering considered as a blue collar profession in Switzerland?

I am not at all related to the business or the poster, and I have lived in Switzerland for a long while now.

This is a fairly standard range for software engineer salaries. 100k is on the junior end, 140k is on the senior end.

I mean 140K is not a high income at all in Zurich. You won't be able to buy a house or support a family, which a senior engineer should be able to do.
