From a developer perspective, I like magic links. They help verify an e-mail address, and log you in at the same time.

Like there's no other way to verify an email address. From a developer perspective, I hate it, because it's yet another functionality that I need to add and support in my app.

Why doesn't sending an OTC to an email and marking it verified if they put in the code also work?
