It has long been very obvious that the EV market was only going to grow. They have no one to blame, but themselves, to be stuck watching China become dominate. And they still have a long way to catch up, because the EV charging station network is a disgrace.
That's not the case globally[1]. And there is a lot of oil money causing confusion. But, regardless of what the true situation is, continually burning fossil fuels with reckless abandon, is not the way forward for humanity.
